A significant step for “Nemo-Jiratth” with the ” Honda HRC Asia Team” : experience from the Japanese racetrack leads to the future of Thai motocross.
The 2026 All Japan Motocross Championship has concluded. Thai rider Jiratth Wannaluk, from Honda Racing Thailand and Honda HRC Asia, riding the Honda CRF 450 R #23, finished 12th overall in Class IA-1, accumulating 337 points out of over 40 competitors who participated in both the full season and selected races.
“Nemo-Jiratth” previously achieved an outstanding result by securing the runner-up podium finish in the All Japan Motocross Championship, Class IA- 1, at the Twenty-One Group Cup Yasuo Tofukuchi Memorial, Round 6, Heat 3 in 2025. This has earned him the opportunity to participate in the full season in 2026.
“Nemo-Jiratth”‘ s full-scale participation in the Japanese championship, supported and promoted by Honda Racing Thailand, is not merely aimed at sending a Thai rider to prove himself on an international stage. This participation also has another crucial objective: to gain experience, knowledge, and learn international standards. This will lay a vital foundation for developing Thai motocross riders to continuously compete at the international level in the future.
Japan is a country with a strong competitive motorsports culture, especially the All Japan Motocross Championship, which is a platform teeming with skilled motocross riders from Japan and Pacific countries like Australia. Furthermore, the weather and track characteristics are different from Thailand and present many challenges. Having the opportunity to consistently compete in such an environment will help Thai riders learn and develop their skills to get closer to international standards.
Nemo-Jiratth, speaking about his experience competing in Japan, said, “Competing in Japan was quite challenging. For almost the entire season, I had to deal with rainy weather that created deep mud ruts on the track. Each track also had its own unique character. It was a very valuable experience; I learned a lot from competing here. “
Furthermore, ” Nemo-Jiratth” not only gained experience from competing on the track, but the behind-the-scenes learning process of each race was also a valuable experience for Thai motocross riders. This included bike preparation, race planning, team communication, and problem-solving in real-world situations. Therefore, the knowledge gained from participating in the competition in Japan will be passed on and further developed to create a strong foundation for Thai motocross in the future.
The journey of “Nemo” Jiratth Wannaluk with “Honda Racing Thailand” in this season’s All Japan Motocross Championship marks another important step in accumulating experience and knowledge, contributing to raising standards and developing Thai riders to be ready for continuous international competition in the future.
