งานแถลงข่าว “Future Mobility Thailand 2026 TyreXpo Asia Bangkok & AutoMROtive 2026” ได้รับความร่วมมือจากสมาคมผู้ผลิตชิ้นส่วนยานยนต์ไทย (TAPMA) และ Informa Markets พร้อมพันธมิตรจากทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน เพื่อร่วมกำหนดทิศทางอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไทยในยุค Future Mobility
ด้าน นายสมพล ธนาดำรงศักดิ์ นายกสมาคมผู้ผลิตชิ้นส่วนยานยนต์ไทย (TAPMA) กล่าวว่า อุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์โลกกำลังอยู่ในช่วงของการเปลี่ยนผ่านครั้งใหญ่ไปสู่เทคโนโลยียานยนต์สมัยใหม่ ขณะที่ประเทศไทยในฐานะผู้ผลิตยานยนต์อันดับ 10 ของโลก จำเป็นต้องพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมในรูปแบบ Multiple Track ควบคู่กัน ทั้งการรักษาฐานการผลิตเครื่องยนต์สันดาป และการเร่งขับเคลื่อนยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าภายใต้นโยบาย 30:30
“Future Mobility Thailand 2026 จะเป็นแพลตฟอร์มสำคัญในการเชื่อมโยงผู้ประกอบการไทยกับพันธมิตรจากทั่วโลก อาทิ จีน ไต้หวัน ญี่ปุ่น เยอรมนี และเกาหลี เพื่อสนับสนุนการ Transform อุตสาหกรรมชิ้นส่วนยานยนต์ไทยสู่อนาคตอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม” นายสมพลกล่าว
ดร.เกรียงศักดิ์ วงศ์พร้อมรัตน์ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันยานยนต์ เผยภาพรวมนโยบายและโครงสร้างอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไทยในระยะ 3-5 ปีข้างหน้า ว่ากำลังเผชิญ “จุดเปลี่ยนสำคัญ” ในการก้าวสู่ยุคยานยนต์แห่งอนาคต โดยมีแรงขับจาก การแข่งขันในอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์มีความรุนแรงขึ้น ส่งผลให้แต่ละภาคส่วน ต้องปรับเปลี่ยนและเร่งพัฒนาให้สอดรับกับความต้องการตลาด โดยเฉพาะการเตรียมพร้อมรับมือเทคโนโลยีที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว กระทบต่อโครงสร้างการผลิตต่อจุดคุ้มทุนในปัจจุบันต้องมีความยืดหยุ่นมากขึ้น
ในขณะเดียวกัน การที่ยานยนต์สมัยใหม่ที่ให้ความสำคัญแก่ระบบอัจฉริยะเต็มรูปแบบ ได้กลายเป็นตัวเร่งให้เกิดการพลิกโฉมระบบนิเวศทางอุตสาหกรรม นอกจากเทคโนโลยีที่มีการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง อีกด้านหนึ่งเราจำเป็นต้องเร่งสร้างทักษะแรงงานใหม่เพื่อรองรับนวัตกรรมดังกล่าว จุดเปลี่ยนเหล่านี้ตอกย้ำว่า ประเทศไทยต้องบูรณาการความร่วมมือ เพื่อยกระดับมาตรฐานการผลิตแบบเดิม สู่การเป็นศูนย์กลางการผลิตอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ ด้วยนโยบายและทิศทางที่อยู่ภายใต้กรอบของความยั่งยืน
นอกจากนี้ ดร.เกรียงศักดิ์ ยังชี้ให้เห็นถึงวิสัยทัศน์ของความเป็นผู้นำในการบูรณาการความร่วมมือเพื่อรักษาความสามารถในการแข่งขันของไทยในระดับภูมิภาค ท่ามกลางยุคแห่งการเปลี่ยนผ่านอุตสาหกรรม ทุกภาคส่วนต้องเริ่มต้นจากการสร้างจุดแข็งภายในองค์กร อาทิความคล่องตัวที่พร้อมปรับเปลี่ยนและปรับตัวต่อทุกสถานการณ์ได้อย่างรวดเร็ว เป็นรากฐานสำคัญในการพัฒนานวัตกรรม ให้เกิดขึ้นจริงในภาคอุตสาหกรรม ควบคู่ไปกับการยกระดับการบริหารจัดการต้นทุนและทรัพยากรให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด

Thailand is entering a pivotal moment in its automotive industry with the announcement of Future Mobility Thailand 2026 (FMT 2026), held alongside TyreXpo Asia Bangkok & AutoMROtive 2026 —an international trade and business networking platform set to serve as a key engine for driving Thailand’s automotive industry into the future. The press conference for “Future Mobility Thailand 2026 and TyreXpo Asia Bangkok & AutoMROtive 2026” was organized in collaboration with the Thai Auto Parts Manufacturers Association (TAPMA) and Informa Markets, alongside partners from both the public and private sectors, to collectively shape the future direction of Thailand’s automotive industry in the era of Future Mobility.
Mr. Sompol Tanadumrongsak, President of the Thai Auto-Parts Manufacturers Association (TAPMA), stated that the global automotive industry is undergoing a major transition toward modern vehicle technologies. As the world’s 10th-largest automotive producer, Thailand must pursue a Multiple Track development strategy—simultaneously maintaining its internal combustion engine (ICE) production base while accelerating the development of electric vehicles (EVs) under the government’s 30:30 policy.
“Future Mobility Thailand 2026 will serve as a critical platform to connect Thai operators with global partners from such as China, Taiwan, Japan, Germany, and South Korea—delivering concrete support for the transformation of Thailand’s auto parts industry toward the future,” said Mr. Sompol.
Dr. Kriengsak Wongpromrat, President of Thailand Automotive Institute (TAI) outlined the policy landscape and structural trajectory of Thailand’s automotive industry over the next three to five years, describing the sector as standing at a “critical inflection point” in its transition toward the future of mobility. Key drivers include intensifying competition across the automotive industry, compelling every sector to adapt and accelerate development in alignment with evolving market demands — particularly in preparing for rapid technological disruption that is fundamentally impacting production structures, requiring greater flexibility in existing break-even models.
At the same time, the rise of modern vehicles built around fully integrated intelligent systems has become a powerful catalyst for transforming the broader industrial ecosystem. Beyond continuous technological advancement, there is an equally urgent need to rapidly build new workforce capabilities to support these emerging innovations. These inflection points underscore that Thailand must foster integrated collaboration to elevate its traditional manufacturing standards — positioning the country as a centre of excellence for automotive industry production, guided by policies and directions firmly anchored within a framework of sustainability.
Dr. Kriengsak further articulated a leadership vision centred on integrated collaboration to sustain Thailand’s regional competitiveness amid the era of industrial transition. Every sector must begin by building internal organisational strengths — particularly agility and the capacity to adapt swiftly to any circumstance — as the essential foundation for translating innovation into tangible industrial outcomes, alongside elevating cost management and resource utilisation to their highest efficiency.
Once organisations are fortified from within, the industry must break free from conventional working frameworks and move toward building strategic partner networks — sharing knowledge and expertise across the entire supply chain. This represents the most critical mechanism for enabling Thai industry to keep pace with the constant evolution of emerging technologies, and to firmly reinforce Thailand’s potential as a sustainable regional hub for automotive manufacturing and mobility innovation.
Ms. Anujtha Jaovisidha, Secretary General of Thai Auto- Parts Manufacturers Association (TAPMA), added that added that Thai operators are currently seeking to expand into new markets at both regional and global levels, while simultaneously forging technology partnerships to elevate manufacturing capabilities in pace with the rapidly evolving industry landscape. At the same time, direct access to buyers and the advancement of standards to international levels are considered critical factors in sustaining competitive advantage. Thailand’s automotive industry is moving forward under the Thailand Automotive Industry Vision 2030, which encompasses the entire industrial ecosystem — from manufacturers through to the supply chain.
