From December 11-31, diners can savor a special Festive À La Carte Menu featuring many of the restaurant’s most popular dishes, including the finest Australian steaks cooked to perfection on the Josper Grill. These will be complemented by a trio of all-new menu items crafted especially for the season: seared Hokkaido scallop with leek fondue & golden trout eggs, tournedos Rossini with pan-fried duck liver and Madeira-truffle sauce, and mixed fruit bread pudding with brandy sauce. Then on December 31, local residents and international visitors can come together for the Japan Twilight Celebration Countdown – an exquisite evening of fine food and riverside elegance. Having been greeted with a luxurious Amuse Bouche of caviar tartlet with crème fraiche, guests can embark on a mesmerizing set menu, starting with an Entrée of oyster with passionfruit mignonette, and an enticing Appetizer of seared tuna crudo with smoked eggplant and Hokkaido uni. Two special dishes then highlight the finest produce from Land and Sea: seared Hokkaido scallop with leek fondue & golden trout eggs, and tournedos Rossini with pan-fried duck liver and Madeira-truffle sauce. This epicurean odyssey then concludes with a surprise Sweet – a perfect finale to this remarkable dining journey.
New Year’s Eve is always an uplifting occasion, and to make it truly unforgettable, a talented portrait artist will be sketching a cartoon picture of every diner! And all guests will be treated to a glass of sparkling wine at midnight, as spectacular fireworks light up the Bangkok skyline.
