NEW MG S5 EV นับเป็น e-SUV รุ่นแรกที่พัฒนาบน NEBULA PURE ELECTRIC PLATFORM ซึ่งเป็นนวัตกรรมที่รองรับรถยนต์ไฟฟ้าหลากหลายเซกเมนต์ ตั้งแต่ขนาดเล็กไปจนถึงขนาดใหญ่ โดยเริ่มใช้งานครั้งแรกใน NEW MG4 ELECTRIC และได้รับการพัฒนาช่วงล่างให้เหมาะกับรูปแบบ SUV มอบประสบการณ์การขับขี่ที่สนุกและมั่นใจในทุกเส้นทาง ภายใต้แนวคิด “Make Anywhere Possible” ที่เข้ามายกระดับมาตรฐานรถ e-SUV ในประเทศไทยให้ก้าว ไปอีกขั้น ซึ่งรถรุ่นนี้ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่ง “โกลบอลโมเดล” ที่จะทำตลาดในหลายประเทศทั่วโลก รถรุ่นนี้ยังเป็นยนตรกรรมรุ่นล่าสุดที่ เอ็มจี ได้เริ่มเดินสายการผลิตในประเทศไทย (CKD) ซึ่งถือเป็นศูนย์กลางการผลิตที่ได้มาตรฐานสากล รองรับทั้งตลาดในประเทศและแผนการส่งออกในอนาคตอีกด้วย

NEW MG S5 EV offers an exemplary performance with DYNAMIC REAR WHEEL DRIVE technology, an electric motor with a peak output of 245 hp (180 kW), as well as a peak torque of 350 Nm. With a 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 6.1 seconds, it can be assured in responsiveness and sense of driving enjoyment. A Dual Pinion steering wheel system brings precision and control to driver. The system works in sync with a specially tuned suspension setup comprising a McPherson Strut on the front and a 5-Link Suspension on the rear to maximize traction and cornering precision. This also significantly reduce vibration from roads too. To further complement traction and cornering confidence, this e-SUV has a 50:50 weight distribution in combination with a low center of gravity design ensure traction. Driver can also use only accelerator pedal to accelerate and slow the car with One Pedal System.
