สตุ๊ทการ์ท/บอสตัน : ปอร์เช่ เอจี (Porsche AG) ร่วมกับ เคลียร์โมชัน (ClearMotion) บริษัทเทคโนโลยีจากบอสตัน สหรัฐอเมริกา ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านระบบแชสซี ลงนามข้อตกลงร่วมกันพัฒนาระบบแชสซีล้ำสมัย โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพของแชสซีที่เป็นที่นิยมของปอร์เช่ให้ดีเยี่ยมยิ่งขึ้น ภายใต้ข้อตกลงนี้ ปอร์เช่ และ เคลียร์โมชัน จะร่วมมือกันพัฒนาเทคโนโลยี ทั้ง ClearMotion1™ เป็นเทคโนโลยีระบบกันสะเทือนแบบแอคทีฟที่ตอบสนองอย่างรวดเร็ว (high-bandwidth) และ RoadMotion™ ซอฟต์แวร์สำหรับการปรับช่วงล่างให้เหมาะสมกับพื้นผิวถนนที่มีความขรุขระแตกต่างกัน นอกจากนี้ ปอร์เช่ (Porsche) และ เคลียร์โมชัน (ClearMotion) ได้ลงนามในข้อตกลงใบสัญญาอนุญาตอีกด้วย
อินโก อัลเบอร์ส (Ingo Albers) รองประธานฝ่ายระบบขับเคลื่อนของปอร์เช่ (Porsche) กล่าวว่า “การร่วมมือครั้งนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อวางรากฐานสำหรับการประเมินความร่วมมือที่ใกล้ชิดยิ่งขึ้นกับ ClearMotion ในอนาคต” นอกจากนี้การนำเทคโนโลยีที่พัฒนาร่วมกันไปใช้กับรถยนต์รุ่นต่างๆ ที่ผลิตโดยแบรนด์อื่นภายในกลุ่มโฟล์คสวาเกน (Volkswagen Group) ก็อาจเป็นไปได้เช่นกัน
คริสเตียน สไตน์มันน์ (Christian Steinmann) ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร (CEO) ของ ClearMotion กล่าวว่า “ความร่วมมือนี้จะเป็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงครั้งใหญ่ในประสบการณ์การขับขี่ของเรา และยังช่วยขยายตลาดของเราไปสู่ตลาดยุโรปอีกด้วย เราหวังว่าการร่วมมือกับปอร์เช่ จะประสบความสำเร็จ และมุ่งสู่ความร่วมมือระหว่างแบรนด์ในระยะยาว”
Porsche and US-Based ClearMotion Sign Cooperation Agreement for Advanced Chassis Systems
Stuttgart/Boston. ClearMotion, the Boston-based specialist in the development of innovative chassis systems, and Porsche AG signed an agreement to collaborate in the field of advanced chassis systems. The object of the agreement is to increase the famously high performance of the already very agile and dynamic chassis in Porsche models. Under this agreement, Porsche and ClearMotion will collaborate on both ClearMotion1™, a high-bandwidth active suspension technology, and RoadMotion™, a road surface fingerprinting software for proactive chassis control. In addition, Porsche and ClearMotion signed a license agreement.
“The planned collaboration is intended to lay the groundwork for evaluating an even closer cooperation with Clear Motion in the future”, says Ingo Albers, Vice President Drive System at Porsche. Going forward, the use of jointly developed technologies for models made by other brands within the Volkswagen Group might also be a possibility.
“This collaboration will create a step-change in the way we experience driving in a vehicle, and for our expansion into the European market. We look forward to creating a fruitful partnership with Porsche and the prospect of building a long-term, cross-brand partnership”, says Christian Steinmann, CEO of ClearMotion.
