บริษัท ปตท. จำกัด (มหาชน) (ปตท.) ได้รับการจัดอันดับเป็นที่ 1 ในไทยและอันดับ 2 ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 2 จาก Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ซึ่งสะท้อนการดำเนินงานของ ปตท. บนหลัก “ยั่งยืนอย่างสมดุล” ภายใต้วิสัยทัศน์ “ปตท. แข็งแรงร่วมกับสังคมไทยและเติบโตในระดับโลกอย่างยั่งยืน” หรือ “Together For Sustainable Thailand Sustainable World” โดยมีพันธกิจในการ “สร้างความมั่นคงทางพลังงานให้กับประเทศไทย สร้างการเติบโตควบคู่กับการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก”
ดร.คงกระพัน อินทรแจ้ง ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารและกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท ปตท. จำกัด (มหาชน) (ปตท.) กล่าวว่า “แม้ว่าจะเผชิญกับสถานการณ์พลังงานที่มีความผันผวน และเศรษฐกิจโลกที่มีแนวโน้มเข้าสู่ภาวะถดถอย แต่จากผลการดำเนินงานที่แข็งแกร่งในปีที่ผ่านมา ทำให้มั่นใจว่า ปตท. เดินกลยุทธ์ถูกทิศทาง สามารถรับมือกับปัจจัยภายนอกและความท้าทายได้เป็นอย่างดี รวมถึงได้รับการจัดอันดับให้เป็นที่ 1 ในประเทศ และเป็นอันดับที่ 2 ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 2 จาก Fortune Southeast Asia 500
ปตท. มีกลยุทธ์มุ่งเน้นธุรกิจหลัก Hydrocarbon สร้างความมั่นคงทางพลังงานให้แก่ประเทศ สร้างการเติบโตควบคู่กับการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก อาทิ การแสวงหาแหล่งพลังงานในกับประเทศผ่านธุรกิจสำรวจและผลิตปิโตรเลียม ซึ่งมีการเติบโตที่ดีในต่างประเทศด้วยการสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มในธุรกิจ LNG ให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด มุ่งสู่การเป็นศูนย์กลางการซื้อขาย LNG ในภูมิภาค การเพิ่มขีดความสามารถการแข่งขันของธุรกิจปิโตรเคมีและการกลั่น ปรับพอร์ตธุรกิจ Non-Hydrocarbon โดยธุรกิจต้องมีความน่าสนใจ (Attractiveness) และ ปตท. มี Right to Play หรือมีจุดแข็ง และมี Partner ที่แข็งแรง หลีกเลี่ยงความเสี่ยงจากอุตสาหกรรมที่มีการแข่งขันสูง
อีกทั้งกลุ่ม ปตท. ให้ความสำคัญกับการดำเนินงานด้านความยั่งยืนเพื่อลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก มุ่งสู่เป้าหมาย Net Zero ในปี 2050 โดยดำเนินการอย่างบูรณาการร่วมกันทั้งกลุ่ม ปตท. ศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีดักจับและกักเก็บก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ (Carbon Capture and Storage: CCS) รวมถึงพัฒนา CCS Hub Model เพื่อสนับสนุนการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกจากการดำเนินธุรกิจของกลุ่ม ปตท. และอุตสาหกรรมในประเทศ รวมถึงโอกาสขยายผลสู่ระดับภูมิภาคในอนาคตต่อไป พร้อมแสวงหาโอกาสในธุรกิจไฮโดรเจนสำหรับภาคอุตสาหกรรม จัดหาไฮโดรเจนและแอมโมเนียคาร์บอนต่ำ และการประยุกต์ใช้ในภาคการผลิตไฟฟ้าเพื่อเป็นต้นแบบในการขยายผลเชิงธุรกิจ
นอกจากนี้กลุ่ม ปตท. พร้อมเร่งสร้างความแข็งแรงภายใน สร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มจากความร่วมมือภายในกลุ่ม ปตท. ผ่านโครงการสำคัญต่างๆ ยกระดับ Operational Excellence เพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขัน มีแผนงานและเป้าหมายเป็นรูปธรรม นำเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลและ AI มาเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการดำเนินงาน ซึ่งสามารถยกระดับผลกำไรได้ รวมทั้งเสริมความแข็งแกร่งด้วยการรักษาวินัยทางการเงินและการลงทุนอย่างเคร่งครัด ตลอดจนบริหารสภาพคล่องกระแสเงินสดภายในกลุ่มอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ยึดหลักการดำเนินธุรกิจด้วยความโปร่งใสและมีธรรมาภิบาล (Good Governance) ดูแลผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียทุกภาคส่วนอย่างสมดุล สร้างผลตอบแทนที่เหมาะสม พัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของสังคมไทย เพื่อสร้างคุณค่าให้กับสังคมและผู้ถือหุ้นอย่างยั่งยืน
