Carolina Reaper ถูกสร้างสรรค์โดย Cheetah Custom Cycles นำโดยคุณโทชิยูกิ โอซาวะ (Toshiyuki Osawa) ศิลปินและบิวด์เดอร์จากโตเกียว ซึ่งไม่เพียงแต่มีชื่อเสียงจากงานคัสตอมเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นที่รู้จักในฐานะนักออกแบบกราฟิก ช่างแกะสลัก และเป็นหนึ่งในผู้ก่อตั้งงานแฟลตแทร็ก ‘Have Fun’ ที่เขาลงแข่งเองด้วย โดย Carolina Reaper ถูกจัดแสดงที่บูธ Have Fun ท่ามกลางบรรดารถมอเตอร์ไซค์แฟลตแทร็กอีกหลายคัน ก่อนที่จะถูกนำไปลุยสนามดินที่งาน HELL FUN ที่จัดขึ้นในวันจันทร์ที่ 8 ธันวาคม ณ Off-Road Village เมืองคาวาโกเอะ จังหวัดไซตามะ หลังจบงาน HCS2025
VITA ถูกสร้างขึ้นบนพื้นฐานของ Royal Enfield CLASSIC 650 รุ่นใหม่ล่าสุด ซึ่งเปิดตัวที่งาน EICMA 2024 และปรากฏโฉมในญี่ปุ่นครั้งแรกที่งาน 2025 Osaka / Tokyo / Nagoya Motorcycle Shows จุดเด่นที่ทำให้รถคันนี้แตกต่างคือ การจัดเรียงเครื่องยนต์แบบคู่ โดยใช้เครื่องยนต์ SOHC สูบคู่ขนานระบายความร้อนด้วยอากาศขนาด 648 ซีซี จำนวนสองชุดจาก Classic 650 โดยชุดเครื่องยนต์ด้านหน้าถูกถอดระบบเกียร์ออกและลดขนาดข้อเหวี่ยงลง จากนั้นเครื่องยนต์ทั้งสองชุดจะถูกเชื่อมต่อเข้าด้วยกันผ่านระบบโซ่หลักทางด้านซ้าย
ชุดเครื่องยนต์ทั้งหมดถูกติดตั้งอยู่ในเฟรมเหล็กแบบฮาร์ดเทลที่ออกแบบและสร้างขึ้นเองโดยเฉพาะ จับคู่กับโช้คหน้า girder คลาสสิกสั่งทำพิเศษ และล้อขนาด 26 นิ้วแบบโมเดิร์น ทำให้เกิดการผสมผสานที่มีชีวิตชีวาของเสน่ห์แบบดั้งเดิมและสมรรถนะร่วมสมัย ในส่วนของตัวรถได้มีการนำวัสดุไม้มาฮอกกานีและอลูมิเนียมที่ยังไม่ได้ทำสีมาใช้ร่วมกัน ซึ่งแสดงถึงความสอดคล้องอย่างยอดเยี่ยมระหว่างโลหะและพื้นผิวจากธรรมชาติ
Carolina Reaper มีพื้นฐานมาจาก GRR 450 / GUERRILLA 450 โรดสเตอร์สมัยใหม่ระดับพรีเมียมของ โรยัล เอ็นฟีลด์ ซึ่งเปิดตัวที่บาร์เซโลนาในเดือนกรกฎาคม 2567 ที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งขับเคลื่อนด้วยขุมพลังเครื่องยนต์สูบเดี่ยว DOHC ระบายความร้อนด้วยของเหลว ‘Sherpa 450’ ขนาด 452 ซีซี รุ่นล่าสุด ซึ่งเป็นเครื่องยนต์เดียวกับที่ใช้ใน Himalayan 450 โดยแนวคิดในการออกแบบของรถคันนี้คือ การผสมผสานสไตล์เรโทรและความโมเดิร์นเข้าด้วยกัน พร้อมนำสมรรถนะของรถแข่งอย่างแท้จริงมาผสานกับงานศิลปะการคัสตอม โดยมีแรงบันดาลใจมาจากรถแข่งแฟลตแทร็กและรถแข่งอเมริกันยุค 1970 ที่เป็น ‘เครื่องจักรจริงจังซึ่งสร้างขึ้นด้วยจิตวิญญาณที่สนุกสนาน’
แม้รถคัสตอมคันนี้จะไม่มีการดัดแปลงเฟรมหลัก แต่มีการเพิ่มเฟรมท้ายที่สร้างขึ้นด้วยมือขึ้นมาใหม่ และงานตัวถังที่ทำจากแผ่นอลูมิเนียมทั้งหมด สวิงอาร์มแบบเดิมถูกแทนที่ด้วยสวิงอาร์มเหล็กโครโมลี่ที่สร้างขึ้นใหม่ด้วยเทคนิคการเชื่อมทองเหลือง และระบบกันสะเทือนท้ายได้ถูกปรับตั้งค่าใหม่ให้เป็นแบบติดตั้งโดยตรง ซึ่งช่วยเพิ่มความสามารถในการปรับแต่งเพื่อรองรับสมรรถนะการขับขี่แบบแฟลตแทร็กได้ดียิ่งขึ้น

Royal Enfield, the global leader in the mid-size motorcycle segment, will unveil two exclusive custom motorcycles — VITA and Carolina Reaper at the 33rd Annual Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2025 (HCS2025), one of Japan’s largest custom motorcycle shows. The VITA was crafted by Yuichi Yoshizawa and Yoshikazu Ueda of Custom Works Zon, a custom factory based in Shiga Prefecture. They have garnered numerous awards at custom shows worldwide. VITA will be displayed at the joint Custom Works Zon and Royal Enfield booth at the show.
Carolina Reaper is created by Cheetah Custom Cycles, led by Tokyo-based artist and builder Toshiyuki Osawa, known not only for his custom work but also as a graphic designer, engraver, and one of the founder of the flat track event / Have Fun, where he also rides competitively. Carolina Reaper will be displayed in the Have Fun booth, alongside multiple flat track motorcycles. Following HCS2025, the motorcycle will take to the dirt at HELL FUN, held on Monday, December 8 at Off-Road Village in Kawagoe, Saitama.
VITA is built upon the brand-new Royal Enfield CLASSIC 650 which was unveiled at EICMA 2024 and debuted in Japan at the 2025 Osaka / Tokyo / Nagoya Motorcycle shows. Its defining feature: a twin-engine configuration utilizing two 648cc air-cooled parallel-twin SOHC engines from the Classic 650. The transmission is removed from the forward unit and the crankcase is shortened. Both engines are linked via a primary chain system on the left side.
The engine package is mounted within a fully bespoke hard-tail steel frame, paired with bespoke classical girder fork and striking 26-inch modern wheels, achieving a dynamic fusion of old-school character and contemporary performance. The body incorporates mahogany wood elements and unpainted aluminum, creating a powerful visual synergy between metal and natural texture.
Carolina Reaper is based on the GRR 450 / GUERRILLA 450, Royal Enfield’s premium modern roadster introduced in Barcelona in July 2024, powered by the latest 452cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder “Sherpa 450” engine, also featured in the Himalayan 450. Its design vision merges retro as well as modern, and pure-race performance with custom motorcycle artistry — inspired by the American flat track racers and race cars of the 1970s: serious machines built with a playful spirit.
Without modifying the main frame, a new hand-built rear frame and all-aluminum sheet metal bodywork have been added. A newly engineered chromoly steel swingarm by brass brazing replaces the standard unit, and the rear suspension unit has been reconfigured to a direct-mount setup, enabling improved adjustability for flat track performance.
