“ไมโครไบโอมเปลี่ยนแปลงตามอายุและปัจจัยต่าง ๆ ซึ่งการเปลี่ยนแปลงของไมโครไบโอมในแต่ละช่วงวัย มีผลโดยตรงกับสุขภาพทั้งภายในและผิวของเรา เช่น เมื่อไมโครไบโอมบนผิวลดลง ก็เกิดปัญหาผิวต่าง ๆ เช่น สิว ผิวแห้งกร้าน ผิวแพ้ง่าย และริ้วรอยก่อนวัย”

แรงบันดาลใจสร้างผลิตภัณฑ์เพื่อสุขภาพผิว
รศ.ดร.นราพร มีความเชี่ยวชาญและประสบการณ์ด้านจุลชีววิทยาและเทคโนโลยีการตรวจสารพันธุกรรมแบบพกพา โดยที่ผ่านมา ได้คิดค้นนวัตกรรมที่ตอบโจทย์สังคมหลายด้าน อาทิ ด้านสาธารณสุข ได้ผลิตชุดตรวจ COVID-19 แบบสามยีน ที่ใช้ในช่วงสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด 19 ด้านเกษตรกรรม ผลิตชุดตรวจ ASFV (African Swine Fever Virus) เพื่อช่วยเกษตรกรและชุมชนผู้เลี้ยงสุกรให้เข้าถึงการตรวจเชื้อไวรัสโรคอหิวาต์แอฟริกาในสุกรได้สะดวกและง่ายขึ้น และด้านอุตสาหกรรมอาหาร มีชุดตรวจ Live Total Bacteria and Coliform Detections ที่ใช้ตรวจแบคทีเรียปนเปื้อนและตรวจเชื้อโคลิฟอร์ม ที่ก่อโรคในไลน์การผลิตอาหาร-เครื่องดื่มของโรงงาน ครอบคลุมอาหาร คน สัตว์ และเครื่องดื่ม
ประสบการณ์และความเข้าใจโลกของไมโครไบโอมที่มีผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพทั้งภายในและภายนอกเหล่านี้ ผลักดันให้ รศ.ดร.นราพร ก่อตั้ง “ออล-ดีเอ็นเอ” เพื่อต่อยอดองค์ความรู้และงานวิจัยให้เป็นนวัตกรรมสุขภาพและความงาม ที่ตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของผู้บริโภคในสังคม
“เราต้องการหลอมวิทยาศาสตร์เข้ากับความต้องการของสังคม และให้ผลิตภัณฑ์สุขภาพเข้าถึงทุกคน ในส่วนผลิตภัณฑ์ “ธนารา” เราหวังว่าจะตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้บริโภคที่ใส่ใจสุขภาพและการชะลอวัย (Anti-aging)”
รศ.ดร.นราพร กล่าวว่าวิถีชีวิตของคนในปัจจุบัน มีหลายปัจจัยที่ทำลายสมดุลของจุลินทรีย์บนผิวของเรา อาทิ การใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์ทำความสะอาดผิวที่รุนแรงเกินไป การสัมผัสสารเคมี และการใช้ยาปฏิชีวนะ รวมทั้งสภาวะแวดล้อม เช่น มลภาวะ ความเครียด การเปลี่ยนแปลงของฮอร์โมน และอายุที่มากขึ้น ก็มีผลให้ไมโครไบโอมเปลี่ยนแปลงด้วยเช่นกัน

THANARA, a beauty innovation that combines microbiome to restore skin health with 4P-Biotics, a unique formula from All-DNA
Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Science professors have invented a skin care formula based on microbiome and 4 P-biotics technology, creating serum and sunscreen lotion products under the brand THANARA to support the balance of the facial microbiome for healthy, youthful, clear, acne-free skin.
Healthy, beautiful, clear skin that looks younger – Everyone wants to have healthy skin. In addition to being “beautiful from the inside” by taking care of your diet, drinking water, resting, emotions, and exercising to be balanced and sufficient, taking care of your skin from the outside is also important. In this regard, “good microorganisms” can help.
“The microbiome is the microorganisms that live in our bodies and on our skin. They play a role in maintaining skin balance, maintaining overall skin health, and helping to prevent infection,” explains Associate Professor Dr. Naraporn Sombunna, Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, who is currently gaining attention in the health and beauty product industry.
“The microbiome changes with age and various factors. The changes in the microbiome at each stage of life have a direct impact on both our internal health and our skin. For example, when the microbiome on the skin decreases, it causes various skin problems such as acne, dry skin, sensitive skin, and premature wrinkles.”
“Balancing the microbiome is the key to restoring healthy skin,” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Naraporn reveals the idea behind the creation of an innovative beauty formula that combines microbiome under the brand “Thanara”, which is researched and produced by “All-DNA”, a startup company under the incubation of CU Innovation Hub/CU Enterprise.
Inspiration to create healthy skin products
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Naraporn has expertise and experience in microbiology and portable genetic testing technology. In the past, she has invented innovations that meet the needs of society in many aspects, such as the public health sector , which has produced a three-gene COVID-19 test kit for use during the COVID-19 pandemic ; the agriculture sector, which has produced an ASFV (African Swine Fever Virus) test kit to help farmers and pig farming communities access African Swine Fever virus testing more conveniently and easily; and the food industry, which has a Live Total Bacteria and Coliform Detections kit to detect bacterial contamination and coliform bacteria that cause disease in food and beverage production lines of factories, covering food, humans, animals, and beverages.
These experiences and understandings of the world of the microbiome, which affects both internal and external health, drove Assoc. Prof. Dr. Naraporn to establish “All-DNA”. To develop knowledge and research into health and beauty innovations that meet the needs of consumers in society.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Naraporn said that the current lifestyle of people has many factors that destroy the balance of microorganisms on our skin, such as using skin cleansing products that are too harsh, contact with chemicals, and use of antibiotics, as well as environmental conditions such as pollution, stress, hormonal changes, and aging, which also affect the microbiome.
“Eating foods high in fiber, such as vegetables, fruits and probiotics, helps promote healthy gut and skin. In addition, you should choose gentle skin care and cleansing products that are free of harsh chemicals and have a pH that is appropriate for your skin type,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Naraporn, who recommends ways to maintain the balance of the microbiome in the body and skin.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Naraporn said that initially, “ All-DNA” Launched two products: THANARA Anti-Aging & Sensitive Skin Serum: A concentrated skin serum that helps restore the facial microbiome, reduce inflammation, increase moisture and balance the skin for a healthy complexion.

We use 4P-Biotics technology: Probiotics, Parabiotics, Prebiotics, and Postbiotics to balance the microbiome on the face.
