นายเฉลิมชัย กล่าวเสริมว่า “ด้วยวิสัยทัศน์ที่ต้องการให้คนไทยได้มีจักรยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าคุณภาพมาตรฐานระดับโลกในราคาที่จับต้องได้ จึงได้ตั้งฐานการผลิต NIU ในประเทศไทย เพื่อลดต้นทุนและขยายตลาดให้ครอบคลุมกลุ่มลูกค้าพรีเมียม แมส โดยมุ่งเน้นลูกค้ารายย่อย (B2C) คิดเป็นร้อยละ 70 และลูกค้าองค์กร (B2B) คิดเป็นร้อยละ 30 ซึ่ง NIU จะเป็นตัวเลือกที่ตอบโจทย์ครบทุกด้านของผู้บริโภคทั้งสองกลุ่ม ตั้งเป้ายอดขาย 10,000 คันต่อปี ภายในสามปีแรกของการผลิตในประเทศ นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญที่ไม่เพียงแต่เพิ่มโอกาสการเข้าถึงสกู๊ตเตอร์ไฟฟ้าแต่ยังช่วยผลักดันอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าในประเทศไทยให้เติบโต พร้อมเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่สังคมคาร์บอนต่ำในอนาคต”
ทั้งนี้ บริษัท พี 80 เจ็ท ได้ทำการเปิดโชว์รูมหลักในย่านรองเมือง และกำลังอยู่ในระหว่างการคัดเลือกพันธมิตรตัวแทนจำหน่าย พร้อมขยายเครือข่ายให้ครอบคลุมพื้นที่มีศักยภาพในจังหวัดท่องเที่ยวสำคัญ เช่น ภูเก็ต เชียงใหม่ ชลบุรี และอยุธยา โดยโรงงานในประเทศไทยจะเริ่มดำเนินการผลิตในไตรมาสที่ 3 ของปี 2568 ซึ่งจะกลายเป็นศูนย์กลางการผลิตของ NIU ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้

Thoresen Thai Agencies Public Company Limited (TTA) moves forward to expand into the smart electric vehicle business, announcing a collaboration with NIU Technologies , the world’s leading smart electric scooter brand, launched under the concept of “Make Life Electric” to fulfill the lives and travels of modern city people with environmentally friendly technology, with a sales target of 10,000 units per year within the first 3 years from the production base in Thailand.

P80Jet has opened a main showroom in the Rong Muang area and is currently selecting dealer partners and expanding its network to cover potential areas in major tourist provinces such as Phuket, Chiang Mai, Chonburi and Ayutthaya. The factory in Thailand will start production in the third quarter of 2025 , becoming NIU’s manufacturing hub in Southeast Asia.
