มาห์เล (MAHLE) ก้าวหน้าไปอีกขั้นในการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกจากการดำเนินงานที่โรงงานผลิตในจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ด้วยการติดตั้งระบบผลิตไฟฟ้าจากเซลล์แสงอาทิตย์ (PV) ประกอบด้วยแผงโซลาร์เซลล์จำนวน 1,639 แผง ขนาดกำลังการผลิตติดตั้ง 1 เมกะวัตต์พีค (MWp) โดยคาดว่าระบบดังกล่าวจะผลิตไฟฟ้าจากพลังงานหมุนเวียนได้ราว 1,100 เมกะวัตต์ชั่วโมง (MWh) ซึ่งจะรองรับความต้องการใช้ไฟฟ้าต่อปีของโรงงานแห่งนี้ได้ราว 14% และช่วยลดการปล่อยก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ (CO₂) ได้สูงสุดถึงปีละ 540 ตัน ทั้งนี้ โครงการโซลาร์รูฟท็อปถือเป็นส่วนสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนแผนงาน CO₂ Roadmap ของกลุ่มบริษัทมาห์เล ซึ่งตั้งเป้าลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกทางตรงจากการดำเนินงาน (Scope 1) และการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกทางอ้อมจากการใช้พลังงานที่ซื้อมา เช่น ไฟฟ้า ไอน้ำ ความร้อน และความเย็น (Scope 2) ให้ได้ 65% ภายในปี พ.ศ. 2573
โรงงานสมุทรปราการเป็นหนึ่งในฐานการผลิตสำคัญของมาห์เลในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ และล่าสุดทางโรงงานได้ริเริ่มติดตั้งระบบผลิตพลังงานหมุนเวียนภายในพื้นที่โรงงานเป็นครั้งแรก โดยนายเซโฮ อี (Zeho I) ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายปฏิบัติการและรองประธานบริหาร บริษัท มาห์เล สยาม ฟิลเตอร์ ซิสเต็มส์ จำกัด กล่าวถึงเรื่องนี้ว่า “การผลิตไฟฟ้าพลังงานหมุนเวียนใช้เองภายในโรงงาน นอกจากจะช่วยลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกแล้ว ยังช่วยเสริมสร้างความยืดหยุ่นในการดำเนินงานระยะยาวของเราด้วย” พร้อมกับเสริมว่า “พนักงานของเราภูมิใจอย่างยิ่งที่ได้มีส่วนร่วมลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกจากการดำเนินงาน และสนับสนุนเป้าหมายด้านความยั่งยืนขององค์กร”
โครงการผลิตไฟฟ้าพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ถูกพัฒนาขึ้นในรูปแบบสัญญาซื้อขายไฟฟ้า (Power Purchase Agreement: PPA) ทำให้มาห์เลในประเทศไทยสามารถใช้ไฟฟ้าจากพลังงานหมุนเวียนภายในโรงงานได้โดยไม่ต้องใช้เงินลงทุนเริ่มต้น ทั้งยังช่วยรักษาเสถียรภาพต้นทุนพลังงานในระยะยาว และสนับสนุนการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่การเป็นเจ้าของระบบในอนาคตอย่างค่อยเป็นค่อยไป
โครงการนี้แสดงให้เห็นว่าฐานการผลิตระดับภูมิภาคสามารถมีส่วนร่วมขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนผ่านด้านพลังงานของกลุ่มมาห์เล โดยการเดินหน้าแผนงานด้านความยั่งยืนให้เหมาะสมกับบริบทของแต่ละพื้นที่นั้นช่วยให้บริษัทลดการปล่อยคาร์บอนในเครือข่ายการผลิตทั่วโลกได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งนี้ การผลิตพลังงานหมุนเวียนถือเป็นหนึ่งในเสาหลักสำคัญของกลยุทธ์การลดคาร์บอนของมาห์เล ควบคู่ไปกับการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการใช้พลังงาน การจัดหาไฟฟ้าสีเขียว และการดำเนินมาตรการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกในพื้นที่ดำเนินงานแต่ละแห่งทั่วโลก
บริษัท มาห์เล สยาม ฟิลเตอร์ ซิสเต็มส์ จำกัด ในจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ เป็นฐานการผลิตที่มีบทบาทมาอย่างยาวนานในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2524 บนพื้นที่รวม 47,300 ตารางเมตร และมีพนักงาน 377 คน รองรับการผลิตชิ้นส่วนหลากหลายประเภทสำหรับอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ ได้แก่ ออยล์คูลเลอร์และออยล์วอร์มเมอร์อะลูมิเนียม, ไส้กรองน้ำมันเครื่อง, ฝาครอบฝาสูบ และหม้อกรองอากาศ โดยให้บริการลูกค้าทั้งในประเทศไทยและตลาดต่างประเทศ โรงงานแห่งนี้จึงมีบทบาทสำคัญในเครือข่ายการผลิตระดับโลกของมาห์เล พร้อมทั้งร่วมขับเคลื่อนความพยายามของบริษัทในการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกจากการดำเนินงาน และเพิ่มการใช้พลังงานหมุนเวียนอย่างยั่งยืน
MAHLE Expands Renewable Energy Generation in Thailand

MAHLE has taken another step in reducing operational emissions at its production facility in Samut Prakan, Thailand. The plant now operates a photovoltaic (PV) system comprising 1,639 solar panels with an installed capacity of 1 megawatt-peak (MWp). The installation is expected to supply approximately 14 percent of the facility’s annual electricity demand, generating around 1,100 MWh of renewable electricity and avoiding up to 540 tons of CO₂ emissions each year. This solar rooftop project supports MAHLE Group’s CO₂ Roadmap, which targets a 65 percent reduction in direct greenhouse gas emissions from operations (Scope 1) and indirect emissions associated with purchased electricity, steam, heating and cooling (Scope 2) by 2030.
As one of the key manufacturing locations in Southeast Asia, the MAHLE Samut Prakan plant has established on-site renewable energy generation capacity for the first time. “Generating renewable electricity directly at our site helps us to reduce emissions while strengthening the long-term resilience of our operations,” said Zeho I, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of MAHLE Siam Filter Systems. “Our associates take great pride in contributing to a reduction of operational emissions and supporting our sustainability goals.”
The solar project has been developed under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) model. This enables MAHLE in Thailand to utilize renewable electricity on site without upfront capital investment while ensuring long-term energy cost stability and supporting a gradual transition toward future system ownership.
The project demonstrates how regional manufacturing sites can contribute to MAHLE Group’s transformation efforts. By implementing locally tailored sustainability initiatives, the company continues to advance the decarbonization of its worldwide production network. Renewable energy generation forms one of the key pillars of the decarbonization strategy of MAHLE, alongside energy efficiency improvements, green electricity sourcing and site-specific emission reduction measures across its global operations.
MAHLE Siam Filter Systems in Samut Prakan is an established manufacturing location in Southeast Asia. Founded in 1981, the plant covers a total area of 47,300 square meters and employs 377 associates. The facility manufactures a range of products for the automotive industry, including aluminum oil coolers and oil warmers, oil filters, cylinder head covers, and air cleaners. Serving customers in Thailand and international markets, the site plays an important role in the global MAHLE production network and contributes to the company’s efforts to reduce operational emissions and increase the use of renewable energy.
