นอกจากนี้ ระบบจ่ายน้ำมันเดิมจากโรงงานยังถูกเปลี่ยนเป็นระบบคาร์บูเรเตอร์คู่แบบคัสตอม (Twin-Carburetor Setup) ซึ่งนอกจากจะให้ลุคคลาสสิกแล้ว ยังช่วยให้ถังน้ำมันมีขนาดแคบลงอย่างเห็นได้ชัด เมื่อประกอบเข้ากับก๊อกน้ำมันวินเทจขนาดกะทัดรัด ตัวรถจึงสะท้อนภาพลักษณ์ของรถชอปเปอร์ทรงแคบอย่างแท้จริง โดยยังคงไว้ซึ่งสมรรถนะอันทรงพลังและไว้ใจได้ของเครื่องยนต์โรยัล เอ็นฟีลด์

Malaysia : Royal Enfield, the global leader in the mid-size (250cc – 750cc) motorcycling segment, today announced the global unveiling of ‘Royal Enfield Obsidian’ – – a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle – at Art of Speed 2026 in Malaysia. The build has been created by Padin Musa of Abah & Sons on the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.
Obsidian is a custom chopper engineered for both craftsmanship and real-world riding. Built around the Super Meteor 650 engine, it combines a vintage aesthetic with modern mechanical reliability. The build follows a clear philosophy: simple, narrow, reliable, and easy to maintain. According to Padin Musa, while many custom bikes prioritize wild styling over function, Obsidian was built to counter that trend – designed to be practical, easy to maintain, and ready to cover long distances.
Apart from the Super Meteor 650 engine, almost every component on Obsidian was designed and fabricated from scratch by Abah & Sons. The entire front end is custom-made to achieve a sleek, narrow profile. It features a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, both laced to vintage-style Hallcraft hubs and wrapped in Japanese Waveway Tread tires.

The handlebars feature a classic chopper bend with an internal throttle for a clean finish. The bike uses a foot clutch paired with a hand-operated jockey shifter, with a shifter knob handcrafted from a reclaimed skateboard deck. Built in traditional chopper style with no front brake, stopping power relies on the rear, using a vintage-style Performance Machine rear caliper for reliable performance.

The factory fuel system was replaced with a custom twin-carburetor setup. Beyond the classic look, this allowed for a much narrower gas tank. Fitted with a compact, vintage-style petcock, the setup delivers the vision of a true narrow chopper while retaining the dependable performance of the Royal Enfield powerplant.
At the rear, a custom sissy bar is designed to be simple, functional, and strong enough to carry a duffle bag for long-distance travel. The taillight is integrated directly into the sissy bar, with all wiring routed internally to keep the lines clean. Obsidian stands as a functional example of custom craftsmanship – built to be ridden and enjoyed on the open road.
